Sellers
If you are planning to SELL a property in Bulgaria, you would be better of using a qualified legal assistance as you can hit a number of burdens on the way of the sale if you haven’t got the right help.
The sale process goes through a couple of stages and namely: preparation of Power of attorney documents (if you can not attend in person for the notary transfer of the property in the name of the potential buyer), signing a preliminary contract (not obligatory) or a deposit agreement, preparation of all the necessary paperwork for the sale in question such as: Cadastral map, Tax valuation price, certificate which proves that there are no burdens or encumbrances on the property, etc., receiving the negotiated sale price into a bank account by the choice of the seller, alternatively receiving the sale price into a lawyers bank account and thereafter redirecting the sale price into a foreign account, completion of the deal by signing the Title Deed for the property transfer in person or through a legal representative/an authorized person you can trust.
